Key Ingredients

Lavender essential oil is an ancient herbal medicine traditionally used to purify the body and mind. Today it has many proven health benefits such as treating insomnia, anxiety, hair loss, acne, headaches and wound healing.  Often frowned upon in the high-end beauty and aromatherapy industry, we are huge advocates for this ingredient due to its proven tracked record of health benefits and because its aroma blends beautifully with many other essential oils creating endless opportunities for stunning, natural skincare products. 

Ylang Ylang essential oil has been used for centuries to aid anxiety and depression.  Its spicy scent creates a strong base layer for this essential oil blend.

Lemongrass essential oil contributes an uplifting citrus scent to this soap bar but also has many health benefits such as the major anti-inflammatory compound, citral, which has been proven to help fight arthritis and heart diseases. 

Home dried lavender helps boost this beautiful scent and also brings the many health benefits of the lavender flower direct to your skin. 

Home dried lemon peel is high in in vitamin c which can even skin tone, brighten your complexion, boost collagen production and reduce dark spots.  These benefits are proven to work better when vitamin c is added directly to the skin rather than consumed, which is why we have used this peel as an additive to this soap bar.

Olive oil locks in moisture and is full of antioxidants that help fight the signs of aging

Coconut oil provides cleansing properties, can improve inflammation and accelerate healing of the skin

Cocoa Butter is high in fatty acids that hydrate and nourish the skin before creating a protective barrier across the skin to further hold in moisture

Castor oil is used to add the bubbles to our lather and also contributes to overall good skin health

Kaolin white clay is the gentlest of clays, providing a stunning, creamy lather that deeply cleanses the skin

Brazilian purple clay is another gentle clay which effectively cleanses the skin and also acts as a natural colourant for the purple swirls in this bar

Directions for use and warnings

This product is safe to use on your face and body, but do avoid contact with eyes.  Keep dry in between each use by using a draining soap dish that provides plenty of air to the bar in-between washes.  This will keep your bar hard and make it last longer.
